지난 28일부터 29일까지 동탄여울공원 일원에서 이틀간 열린 이번 축제는 농업의 중요성을 재조명하며 농업의 가치를 시민들에게 전달하는 뜻깊은 시간이었다.
작년에 이어 올해도‘100만 시민과 농업의 유쾌한 만남’을 주제로 열린 이번 축제에는 이틀간 시민 4만여 명이 방문했으며, 28일 열린 개막식에는 정명근 화성시장을 비롯해 배정수 화성시의회 의장, 국회의원 등이 참석해 축제 개최를 축하했다.
이번 축제는 △도농 어울림 전국 동요대회 △도농 어울림 사생미술대회 △반려식물 경진대회를 비롯해 △우리 농산물 김치만들기 체험 △청귤청 만들기 △목화솜리스 만들기 등 다채로운 체험 프로그램으로 시민들에게 큰 호응을 얻었다.
특히 가족단위 관람객들이 △수향미 도시락만들기 △우리가족 꽃송편 만들기 경진 등에 함께 참여하며 농업을 통해 가족애를 느낄 수 있는 기회를 제공했다.
우수 농산물 판매장터에서는 다양한 우리 농산물과 샤인머스켓 포도품평회 수상작들도 구매 가능해 시민들의 눈과 입을 사로잡았다.
