수원시, 100인 원탁토론회 개최

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=수원 이현준기자] 수원시는 ‘마을의 역할과 미래’를 논의하는 100인 원탁토론회를 개최한다.

10월 8일 오후 3시 수원컨벤션센터에서 마을만들기지방정부협의회가 주최하고, 수원시가 주관하는 이날 토론회에는 이재준 수원시장, 협의회 회원지자체 공무원, 마을활동가, 마을만들기협의회·마을공동체 관계자 등이 참여한다.

황길식 명소 IMC 대표가 ‘마을만들기 10년’을 주제로 발표하고, 참석자들이 ▲자치 ▲돌봄 ▲경제 ▲환경 ▲학습 ▲문화 분과 등 6개 분과별로 원탁토론을 한다.

이어 토지주택연구원 조영택 박사가 마을만들기 우수사례를 발표한 후 분과별로 토론 결과를 발표한다. ‘수원 마을 만들기 미래’를 주제로 한 이재준 시장의 발표로 이날 토론회는 마무리된다.

토론회의 주제를 6개로 나눠 분과를 구성하고, 8월부터 토론회 참여자를 모집해 9월까지 2, 3차에 걸쳐 자유롭게 의견을 나누며 소통하는 사전토론을 했다.

수원시 관계자는 “사전토론에서 시민들이 자유롭게 논의한 내용을 바탕으로 더 세밀하게 주제별 토론을 할 수 있을 것”이라며 “수원시도 새로운 마을만들기를 적극적으로 지원하겠다”고 말했다.
