[브레이크뉴스경기남부=화성 이현준기자] 화성도시공사는 제20회 대한민국 지방자치경영대전에서 공공기관 혁신분야 장관상(우수상)을 수상했다.
행정안전부와 한국일보가 공동 주관한 이번 수상은 경기도 공공기관 중 유일한 성과로, 공사의 혁신적 노력이 다시 한번 인정받는 계기가 됐다.
「대한민국 지방자치경영대전」은 지방자치단체 및 지방공공기관의 창의적 시책 개발을 장려하고, 이를 통해 지방행정 발전과 지역 주민의 삶의 질 향상을 도모하기 위한 대회로, 올해는 전국 81개 자치단체와 공공기관에서 총 227개의 정책이 치열하게 경쟁했다.
HU공사는 이번 경영대전에서 “AI 안전운전 솔루션 도입” 사업으로 우수상을 받았다. 이 사업은 AI 영상인식 기술을 화성시 공영버스에 도입해 교통사고를 줄이고, 안전한 교통 문화를 선도하는 데 크게 기여한 점에서 높은 평가를 받았다.
