윤석열 대통령이 부인 김건희 여사와 함께 5박 6일 일정(6~11일)의 필리핀·싱가포르·라오스 등 동남아시아 3국 순방차 6일 출국했다.
윤 대통령 내외는 이날 오전 11시 30분께 경기 성남 서울공항에서 대통령 전용기 공군 1호기 편으로 첫 순방지인 필리핀으로 향했다.
공항엔 이상민 행정안전부 장관·추경호 국민의힘 원내대표·대통령실 정진석 비서실장·성태윤 정책실장·홍철호 정무수석·김홍균 외교부 제1차관 등이 나와 윤 대통령 내외를 환송했다. 한동훈 국민의힘 대표는 부산 금정구청장 보궐선거 지원 유세로 자리하지 못했다.
