[브레이크뉴스경기남부=화성 이현준기자] 화성시는 제부도 근린공원 조성 사업 현상설계 공모 당선작을 발표했다.
제부도 근린공원 조성 부지는 면적 10,593㎡ 규모로, 제부도의 자연환경 및 경관, 지역적 맥락에 어울리는 최적의 설계를 도출하고자 설계공모로 추진했다.
이 사업은 제부도 및 서해안 인접 지역의 대표 랜드마크가 될 수 있는 독창적이고 아름다운 공원으로 조성하는 것을 목표로 하고 있다.
시는 지난 7월 3일 공고를 시작으로 9월 10일 총 11개의 작품 제안을 받았으며, 대학교수 등 전문가로 구성된 심사위원회를 통해 25일 1차 심사에서 5개 우수작품을 선정하고, 30일최종 심사를 진행했다.
심사위원들은 해변에서 공원으로의 자연스러운 접근이 가능하며, 다양한 관측점에서 낙조 전망이 가능하고 주변 지역 상권과의 유기적 연결이 가능토록 공원 경계부 공간계획을 제시한 ㈜제이더블유랜드스케이프 작품을 당선작으로 확정했다.
1등 당선작에게는 기본 및 실시설계권이 부여되고, 이외 입상작에 대해서는 동일하게 보상금이 지급될 예정이다.
시는 이달 중 설계 공모 당선업체와 계약을 체결해 내년 4월 설계 용역을 마무리하고 공사에 착수해 오는 2025년 12월 준공을 목표로 사업을 추진할 계획이다.
정명근 화성시장은 “당선작이 화성 서부의 랜드마크 역할을 수행하고 제부도를 상징하는 특색있는 공간을 제공할 것으로 기대한다”며, “설계 과정에서 충분한 의견 수렴 과정을 거쳐시민들의 많은 관심에 부응하기 위해 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
