동국대 WISE캠퍼스, 경주형 세계시민교육 초청강연 개최

【브레이크뉴스 경주】박희경 기자=동국대 WISE캠퍼스는 지난 8일 원효관 글로벌에시스홀에서 경주시 후원으로 홍창준 한국 어린이 ARVR교육 총연합회 회장을 초청해 ‘경주형 세계시민교육 초청강연’을 개최했다고 10일 밝혔다.

홍창준 회장은 “AI/XR을 활용한 경주형 세계시민교육 : 경주시 정책제언을 중심으로” 라는 주제로 강연을 펼쳤고 경주시민 및 동국대 WISE캠퍼스 교직원과 재학생 등 150여명이 강연에 참여했다. 강연 후에 홍창준 회장은 경주시민 및 참석자 등으로부터 질문을 받고 답하는 시간을 가졌다.

홍창준 회장은 “Al를 만드는 시대는 이미 지났다. 이제는 Operating을 하는 시대가 왔다며, ”XR은 게임보다 입체형으로 봤을 때 270배의 높은 학습효과를 얻을 수 있고 또한 고품질의 교육을 제공할 것이다라며, 이를 통해 다가올 시대를 선도하고 이끌어 나가야 한다.“고 말했다.

“경주형 세계시민교육”은 동국대 WISE캠퍼스 글로벌융합연구소에서 경주시와 관학협력사업의 일환으로 기획한 명품 교양강좌 시리즈로 매월 개최될 예정이다.

동국대 WISE캠퍼스 글로벌융합연구소 이영찬 교수는 “경주 시민들을 대상으로 문화다양성, 지속가능발전목표, 국제개발협력 등 세계시민성에 관한 핵심 주제별 강의를 제공하여 책임있는 세계시민으로서의 소양을 갖출 수 있도록 지원하고자 하며, 경주의 지역인재양성과 글로컬 특성화 모델을 창출할 수 있기를 기대한다.”고 말했다.

After the lecture, President Hong Chang-jun took time to answer questions from Gyeongju citizens and attendees.
