충남 서산시가 대산산업단지 내 중소기업 근로자의 정주 여건을 개선하기 위한 ‘일자리연계형 지원주택사업’이 행정절차를 마치고 2025년 본격적인 착수에 돌입할 예정이라고 10일 밝혔다.
이와 관련 신철호 서산시 주택과장은 10일 시청 브리핑룸에서 기자회견을 열고 대산읍 대산리 91-13번지 일원 10,223㎡에 조성될 일자리연계형 지원주택의 추진 현황과 조성계획을 설명했다.
신 과장은 “올해 안에 행정안전부의 지방재정 투자심사와 서산시의회의 공유재산 관리계획 승인을 마친 후 2025년 토지보상, 2026년 착공을 목표로 본격적인 지원주택사업의 착수에 돌입한다”라고 밝혔다.
해당 사업은 798억 5천만 원을 투입해 2028년까지 290세대 규모의 중소기업 근로자 공공 임대 아파트와 비즈니스 지원센터를 건립한다.
비즈니스 지원센터는 세탁시설과 공유 사무실 등 생활 편의시설을 갖춰 거주 근로자들의 편의를 한층 높일 예정이다.
서산시는 지난해 8월 국토교통부가 주관하는 ‘일자리연계형 지원주택사업’에 공모 선정됐으며, 올해 8월 한국지방행정연구원의 타당성 조사를 완료하고, 현재 행정안전부에 지방재정 투자심사를 의뢰한 상태로 서산시는 심사 결과가 올해 10월 중 발표될 것으로 보고 있다.
서산시는 해당 사업이 완료되면 중소기업 근로자의 정주 여건을 개선해 주거 비용 경감하는 한편, 다른 지역 출퇴근 근로자의 입주로 인구 유입 효과까지 거둘 것으로 전망했다.
