브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= 한국타이어앤테크놀로지㈜는 지난 19일 서울시 관악구 소재 실내 축구장에서 동명아동복지센터 아동 대상 임직원 축구 재능기부 봉사활동을 진행했다고 21일 밝혔다.
이번 축구 재능기부 봉사활동은 지역사회 취약계층 아동들에게 건전한 여가 스포츠 체험의 기회를 제공하고, 운동 기술 습득으로 자신감을 향상시켜 신체적·정서적으로 건강하게 성장하도록 돕기 위해 마련됐다. 한국타이어 본사 ‘테크노플렉스(Technoplex)’ 축구 동호회 및 봉사 동호회 소속 임직원 20여 명이 참여했다.
봉사활동에 참여한 임직원들은 아동들에게 몸풀기 운동과 함께 드리블, 슈팅, 패스 등 축구 기초 기술을 전달했다. 또한, 미니 게임을 진행해 협동심, 배려심을 길러주고 활발한 의사 소통으로 친밀감을 형성하는 등 뜻깊은 시간을 보냈다.
앞서 지난 8월에는 서울시 서초구 소재 장애인거주시설 다니엘복지원에서 서울특별시장애인복지시설협회와 나눔 프로젝트 ‘농구 두(Do)드림(Dream)’을 진행했다. 한국타이어 본사 농구 동호회 소속 임직원이 장애아동·청소년과 1:1 매칭되어 농구 규칙과 기본 기술을 가르쳐주며 화합의 시간을 가졌다. 가전제품과 생필품 등을 전달해 아동·청소년들의 생활 환경 개선에도 기여했다.
한편, 한국타이어는 임직원 재능기부 봉사활동을 포함해 ‘벽화 그리기’, ‘취약계층 가정 도배장판 봉사’, ‘크리스마스 리스 만들기’ 등 다양한 임직원 및 가족 참여형 사회공헌 프로그램을 지속 전개하며 지역사회와 진정성 있는 나눔, 상생의 가치 실현에 적극 앞장서고 있다.
특히, 2023년 한 해 동안 임직원 참여 봉사활동 누적 1만 시간을 달성했으며, 2024년 9월까지 집계된 임직원 봉사활동은 8300시간으로, 연간 누적 봉사활동 약 1만2000시간을 달성할 것으로 예상된다.
