시중 물가가 올라도 너무 올랐다.
1976년, 어머니가 손에 쥐여 주었던 3,000원을 가지고 서울에 올라왔다. 당시 나의 전 재산은 3,000원이 전부였다. 그 후, 시골출신 가난했던 나의 서울 생활이, 지금까지 이어졌다. 그런데 요즘 물가가 너무 올랐다. 서울의 밥 값, 점심 한 끼 먹는데 10,000원 이상이다.
기자정신을 발휘, 회사 근처(서울시 서대문구 합동)의 값이 저렴하고 맛있는 식당을 찾아 나섰다. 노력 끝에, 음식점 한 곳을 찾아냈다. 서울시 중구 중림동 128-23번지에 있는 '이조식당'이다. 콩나물 비빔밥 1인 분이 6,000원이다. 한 그릇을 주문, 냠냠냠... 맛있게 먹는다. 점심 시간 마다, 이 식당을 찾는다.

정부기관인 '행정안전부, 서울시, 서울시의 중구'라는 3기관이 착한가격 캠페인을 벌이면서 이 가게를 '모범가게'로 선정한 것을 보니, 정부도 물가가 너무 올라 이런 캠페인을 주도하는 모양이다.
최근 하루 3 식(食)이 아닌, 2 식(食)을 하는 사람도 만나봤다. 이 사람은 하루 두 끼 먹는 게 건강에도 좋다고 자랑했다.
1976년 3,000원 전 재산의 두 배인 6,000원을 점심의 식대로 지불하고, 트림을 하면서, 여유롭게 식당 문을 나선다. 내가 부자가 된 모양이다. 전 재산의 두 배인 6,000원을 지불했으니 말이다. 그 고액(?)을 지불하고도, 맘이 안 쓰린다! 하하허... moonilsuk@naver.com

Walking 2km round trip, eating lunch for 6,000 won!

Even though the prices of goods in the market have gone up too much.
In 1976, I came to Seoul with 3,000 won that my mother had given me. At that time, 3,000 won was all I had. Since then, my life in Seoul, which was poor and from the countryside, has continued until now. However, prices have gone up too much these days. A single lunch costs more than 10,000 won.
I used my journalistic spirit to look for a cheap and delicious restaurant near my company (Hapdong, Seodaemun-gu, Seoul). After much effort, I found a restaurant. It is 'Leejo Restaurant' located at 128-23 Jungnim-dong, Jung-gu, Seoul. A single serving of bean sprout bibimbap costs 6,000 won. I order a bowl, yum yum... I eat it deliciously. I visit this restaurant every lunchtime.
The government agencies 'Ministry of Public Administration and Security, Seoul City, and Jung-gu of Seoul' selected this store as a 'model store' while conducting a fair price campaign, so it seems that the government is also leading this campaign because prices are rising too much.
Recently, I met someone who eats two meals a day instead of three. This person boasted that eating two meals a day is good for your health.
In 1976, I paid 6,000 won for lunch, which is twice my entire fortune of 3,000 won, and I leisurely leave the restaurant after burping. It seems like I've become rich. I paid 6,000 won, which is twice my entire fortune. Even after paying that high amount(?), I still feel bad! Hahaha...
