충남 서산시는 미세먼지 저감과 산불 예방을 위해 '2024년 하반기 영농 부산물 안전처리 파쇄 지원사업'을 시행한다고 밝혔다.
이 사업은 농업인들이 영농 부산물을 효율적으로 처리하도록 지원하는 것으로, 과수 잔가지, 콩대, 깻대, 고춧대 등 다양한 영농 부산물을 파쇄하는 서비스를 제공한다.
신청은 11월 1일부터~11월 30일까지 읍면동 행정복지센터를 통해 가능하며, 3개 조로 구성된 파쇄지원단이 농업인이 신청한 장소를 방문하여 서비스를 진행한다.
파쇄 작업은 12월 말까지 완료될 예정이다. 이를 통해 서산시는 산불 예방과 미세먼지 저감에 기여하는 한편, 영농 부산물을 퇴비화하여 농업 생산성을 높이는 효과를 기대하고 있다.
