대통령실이 5일 윤석열 대통령 임기 반환점(10일)에 앞서 "남은 2년 반 정부는 국민 여러분 눈높이에서 민생 부담을 덜어드리고 조금이라도 빨리 체감할 수 있는 변화를 만들기 위해 모든 역량을 결집하겠다"고 밝혔다.
성태윤 정책실장은 이날 오후 용산 대통령실에서 열린 '국정 성과·향후 과제 브리핑'에서 이같이 밝힌 후 "저출생·고령화에 따른 생산인구 감소로 노동공급 축소가 불가피한 상황서 구조 개혁을 통해 사회 전반 생산성을 높이는 것이야말로 잠재 성장률을 다시 상승시킬 유일한 선택지"라고 강조했다.
그러면서 "이를 위해 정부는 노동현장 불법 행위를 바로 잡고 30여 년 만에 유보통합 27년 만에 의대 증원 등 정치적 유불리를 따지지 않고 사회 전반 구조개혁을 본격 추진했다"며 "유례 없는 글로벌 복합위기에 대응해 대한민국 경제 회복·성장을 이뤄내기 위해 모든 정책적 노력을 다했다"고 전했다.
또 "어느 때보다 불확실성 큰 대내외 여건 속 역대 최고 고용률·역대 최저 실업율·역대 최고 외국인 투자 유치 등 우리 경제 저력·잠재력에 외국 주요 기관들이 높이 평가하고 있다"며 "모든 국민 삶 속에 개혁·민생 정부로 자리매김하게 총력을 다하겠다"고 말했다.
이어 아들 딸 행복을 위한 4+1 개혁 완수·민생 변화·서민 중산층 새로운 시대 구현·국민 미래 먹거리 책임지는 역동 경제·국민 누구나 걱정 없이 누리는 소중한 일상·어디서나 살기좋은 지방시대 구현 등 5가지 주요 과제를 제시했다.
더불어 "원전 산업 생태계 완전 정상화를 위해 앞으로 11조 이상 원전 일감을 공급하겠다"며 "특히 소형모듈원자로(SMR)를 비롯 신규 원전 건설을 추진하고 원전 계속운전 허가 기한도 최대 20년까지 확대하겠다"고 밝혔다.
성 실장은 "건강보험·의료질서를 왜곡하는 비급여 실손보험 개선안을 연내 마련하겠다"며 "청년·중고령자 일자리가 상생할 계속 고용방안을 마련하겠다"고 전했다.
또 "그린벨트 해제·노후 계획도시 재건축으로 국민이 선호하는 지역에 대규모 주택공급을 본격 추진하겠다"고 밝힌 가운데 대통령실은 연내 추가 공급 대책을 발표할 방침이다.
이어 "금융투자소득세 폐지·증시 밸류업 프로그램 등 코리아 디스카운트를 해소해 서민·중산층을 위한 자산 형성 사다리를 더 많이 만들 것"이라며 "4대 개혁 첫 단추는 인구 위기 극복으로 출생아·혼인 건수 반등 등 긍정 신호가 확실한 추세적 전환으로 자리 잡고 2030년까지 합계출산율 1.0 달성을 위해 모든 노력을 다하겠다"고 밝혔다.
더불어 "전세사기·보이스피싱·불법사금융·마약·디지털 성범죄·가짜뉴스 등 모든 범죄에 대해 끝까지 추적해 처벌한다는 각오로 단호히 척결하겠다"고 밝혔다.
