윤석열 대통령이 6일 "2027년까지 1조 규모 벤처펀드를 조성해 비수도권 창업기업에 적극 투자하겠다"고 밝혔다.
윤 대통령은 이날 오후 강원특별자치도청에서 열린 '제8회 중앙지방협력회의'에 참석해 모두 발언에서 "지역서 창업한 기업이 지역서 성장해 정착할 수 있도록 '지방시대 벤처펀드'를 조성하겠다"며 이같이 말했다.
윤 대통령은 지난 2022년 10월 제2회 회의부터 이날까지 울산·전북·부산·경북·서울·충남 등을 돌며 모든 회의를 주재했다.
윤 대통령은 "지역서 창업한 기업이 지역서 성장하고 일자리를 창출하는 선순환 구조를 구축할 수 있도록 지자체에서도 현장에 맞는 투자 확대 방안을 고민해달라"며 정부가 도입한 '지방시대 4대 특구(기회발전특구·교육발전특구·도심융합특구·문화특구)가 핵심 정책이라고 말했다.
그러면서 "산업·일자리뿐 아닌 정주 인프라가 패키지로 조성될 때 진정한 지방시대가 실현되는 것"이라며 "지자체에서도 현장 눈높이에서 지방시대 사업을 효율적으로 연계하는 방안을 함께 고민해달라"고 당부했다.
또 최근 출생아 수·혼인 건수 증가세를 언급하며 "출산율 반등 불씨를 확실한 상승 추세로 만들기 위해 각 부처·지자체에서 더욱 힘 모아달라"고 주문했다.
지난 9월 발표한 법무부의 '신 출입국·이민정책 추진 방안'에 대해선 "각 지자체도 외국인들이 우리 공동체의일원으로 잘 정착할 수 있도록 충분히 지원해달라'고 요청했다.
이어 "빈집·폐교를 지역 활력 부활 공간으로 재탄생시키겠다"며 "지역에서도 빈집·폐교 문제 해결을 위해 함께 나서고 있디"고 말했디/
더불어 "방치된 빈집·폐교는 경관을 해치고 범죄 온상이 되기도 하는 만큼 제대로 활용하기 위해 지난 9월 관계부처 합동으로 '빈집 정비 통합 지원 TF'를 출범했다"며 "지자체·교육청·정부가 계속 힘합쳐 노력해 달라"고 당부했다.
