세종시의회가 4일 크린넷 집하장 운영실태 점검에 나섰다.
세종시의회 ‘쾌적한 도시환경 유지와 지속 가능한 크린넷 운영을 위한 특별위원회(이하 크린넷)는 이날 지역내 크린넷 시설인 5, 12집하장을 각각 방문해 운영실태를 점검했다..
이번 점검에는 크린넷특위 위원들과 시청 소관 부서, 세종시 아파트 입주자 대표 연합회, 대한주택관리사협회 세종시회, 그리고 LH 세종특별본부 관계자, 홍익대 본부장 등 총 26명이 함께 참석했다.
참석자들은 방문지에서 현재 1개 또는 2개의 관로로 운영하는 집하장 시설을 견학하고 각각의 장단점과 운영상 드러난 문제점을 파악하는 등 세종시에 설치된 집하장 운영을 살펴봤다.
이 자리에서 크린넷 특위에서는 ▲세종시 크린넷 운영상 나타난 문제 해결방법 대책 마련 요청 ▲집하장 악취 발생 등 문제 해결 전까지 주민 불편을 최소화할 방안 강구 ▲크린넷 하자 보수를 위한 LH 등 관련기관의 책임 있는 자세 필요 ▲향후 크린넷의 관리 방향 등 대책 마련을 촉구했다.
김현옥 위원장은 “오늘 현장방문은 세종시의 크린넷 운영 실태를 살펴볼 수 있는 의미 있는 시간이었다”며, “앞으로 세종시민들의 생활 불편을 최소화할 수 있도록 관계 부서에서는 지금까지 운영상 나타난 크린넷 문제 해결에 총력을 다해야 한다”고 강조했다.
더불어 “당초 설계와 시공을 맡은 기관에서 책임감을 갖고 근본적인 문제 해결방안 마련을 위해 적극적으로 노력해야 한다고” 주문했다.
향후 크린넷 특위는 세종시민, 아파트입주민 등 이해관계자와 유관기관이 참석하는 토론회를 개최할 것으로 알려졌다. 이를 통해 크린넷 운영 문제를 파악하고 생활 불편을 해소하겠다는 계획이다.
한편, 크린넷 특위에서는 김현옥 위원장, 윤지성 부위원장과 김충식, 김영현, 김현미, 안신일, 이현정 위원 등 총 7명의 위원이 활동 중이며, 활동기간은 2026년 6월 30일까지다.
