브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= 현대자동차그룹이 교육 사각지대를 해소하는 사회공헌 프로그램 ‘대학생 교육봉사단 H-점프스쿨’ 11기 수료식 ‘See You Again H’ 행사를 8일 개최했다.
서울 서초구 양재 엘타워에서 열린 수료식에는 지난 3월부터 8개월간 교육봉사단으로 활동한 대학생 교사들을 비롯해 현대차그룹 한용빈 부사장과 사단법인 점프 은초롱 대표, 이의헌 CGO(글로벌 사업총괄) 등이 참석했다.
‘H-점프스쿨’은 ‘누구나 배움의 기회를 누리고 성장하는 공정한 사회’를 목표로, 2013년부터 시작된 현대차그룹의 대표 사회공헌 활동이다.
봉사단으로 선발된 대학생 교사들이 소외 계층 청소년들에게 학습 및 정서 지원 활동을 펼치고, 현대차그룹 임직원을 비롯한 멘토들이 대학생 교사들의 진로 설계 등을 돕는 삼각구조 멘토링을 통해 교육 나눔의 선순환을 실천하고 있다
H-점프스쿨 11기 대학생 교사 300명은 활동 기간 동안 전국의 지역아동센터 및 교육복지 기관 등에서 청소년 1193명을 대상으로 약 4만시간 동안 교육 봉사를 진행했다.
현대차그룹은 활동에 참여한 대학생 교사 전원에게 장학금 200만원과 사회인 멘토링을, 우수 대학생 교사에게는 해외글로벌 현장 멘토링 기회를 추가로 제공했다.
H-점프스쿨 11기에서 우수 대학생 교사로 선정된 건국대 박서영 학생은 이날 수료식에서 서울 노원구 구립한내지혜의숲지역아동센터에서 교사로 활동하며, 초기 학습에 집중하지 못했던 청소년과 인공지능(AI)을 활용한 전자책을 출간하기까지의 과정을 발표했다.
현대차그룹 관계자는 “앞으로도 미래세대를 대상으로 한 진정성 있는 사회공헌 활동을 통해 우리 사회 교육 격차를 해소하고 배움의 사다리를 놓을 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
한편, H-점프스쿨은 오는 19일부터 다음달 29일까지 12기 대학생 교사 300명 선발에 나설 계획이다.

At the graduation ceremony that day, Konkuk University student Park Seo-young, who was selected as an excellent college student teacher in the 11th H-Jump School, presented the process of working as a teacher at the Seoul Nowon-gu Hannae Wisdom Forest Community Children's Center, and publishing an e-book using artificial intelligence (AI) with youths who were unable to focus on their initial learning.
