브레이크뉴스 최애리 기자= 프랜차이즈 업체 ‘김가네’의 김용만 회장이 회식에서 만취한 여직원에게 성폭행을 시도한 혐의로 경찰에 입건됐다.
15일 경찰에 따르면 지난 7월 김회장에 대해 준강간치상 및 업무상 위력 등에 의한 추행(성폭력처벌법 위반) 혐의로 고발장이 접수, 현재 서울 성북경찰서가 입건 후 조사를 진행하고 있다. 준강간죄는 심신 상실 또는 항거 불능 상태인 피해자를 간음하거나 추행했을 때 적용된다.
김 회장은 지난 해 9월 회식 자리에서 직원들에게 술을 강제로 권한 후, 여직원 A씨가 과음 후 정신을 잃자 근처 모텔로 옮겨 성폭행을 시도한 것으로 알려졌다.

김 대표는 공식 홈페이지를 통해 “김 전 대표와 관련된 불미스러운 일로 걱정과 피해를 끼쳐드려 대단히 죄송하다”며 “가맹점주, 임직원마저 피해를 받고 있는 상황에 대해 매주 죄송하고 참담한 심정이다”고 밝혔다.
이어 “무엇보다도 피해 직원분의 2차 피해를 방지하고 가맹점에 누를 끼치지 않도록 최선의 노력을 다할 것을 약속한다”며 “당사 경영진은 김 전 대표가 더 이상 당사와 함께 할 수 없다고 판단해 해임조치 했다”고 덧붙였다.
그러면서 “다시는 이런 불미스러운 일로 김가네를 사랑해 주시는 많은 분들에게 실망을 드리지 않도록 쇄신하겠다”고 전했다.
