한중도시우호협회는 11월20일 보도자료에서 “한중도시우호협회가 11월26일 중국 저장(浙江)성 후저우(湖州)시에서 개최되는 한중불교포럼(태고세미나) 공식 후원기관으로 선정됐다”고 밝혔다.

권기식 회장은 11월28일까지 저장성에 체류하며 중국 지방정부 및 불교계 지도자들과 한중 불교 문화교류와 템플스테이 체험 관광 등을 협의할 예정이다. 이어 완쇼(萬壽)사 등 후저우시 인근 중국 사찰들을 탐방하고, 협회 저장성ㆍ산둥성ㆍ상하이시 지회 관계자들과 내년도 교류사업 등을 협의할 예정이다. 권 회장은 한국불교 태고종 국제자문위원장을 맡아 한중 불교 교류를 위해 노력하고 있다.
권기식 회장은 12월 중순 중국 장쑤(江蘇)성 전장(鎭江)시 교류센터 초청으로 장쑤성과 장시(江西)성을 방문해 교육청과 학교를 참관하고 한중 청소년 문화교류 방안을 논의할 예정이다.

On November 20, the Korea-China City Friendship Association announced in a press release that “the Korea-China City Friendship Association has been selected as the official sponsor of the Korea-China Buddhist Forum (Taiko Seminar) to be held in Huzhou, Zhejiang Province, China on November 26.”
