윤석열 대통령이 23일 박장범 한국방송공사(KBS) 사장 후보자 임명안을 재가했다고 대통령실이 전했다.
대통령실은 이날 언론 공지에서 이같이 밝혔다. 임기는 오는 12월 10일부터 2027년 12월 9일까지다.
앞서 국회는 지난 18일부터 20일까지 박 후보자에 대한 인사청문회를 실시했으나 인사청문 경과보고서를 채택않았다.
윤 대통령은 국회에 인사청문 경과보고서 재송부를 요청한 가운데 재송부 시한 22일까지 국회 답이 없어 이날 박 후보자 임명안을 재가했다.
박 신임 사장은 대전 대성고·연세대 경제학과 졸업 후 지난 1994년 KBS 공채 20기 기자로 입사해 런던 특파원·사회2부장·비서실장 등을 역임한 가운데 지난해 11월부터 KBS 1TV '뉴스9' 앵커를 맡아왔다.
