브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 법무부가 9일 비상계엄 사태와 관련, 윤석열 대통령의 출국금지를 승인했다. 현직 대통령이 출국금지 조치를 받은건 이번이 처음이다.
배상업 법무부 출입국외국인정책본부장은 이날 오후 국회 법제사법위원회 전체회의에 출석해, 윤석열 대통령에 대한 출국금지 조치를 했다고 밝혔다.
앞서 이날 12·3 비상계엄 사태를 수사하고 있는 고위공직자범죄수사처는 윤 대통령에 대한 출국금지를 신청했다.
오동운 공수처장은 이날 법사위 전체회의에서 정청래 법사위원장이 "내란수괴 피의자가 국군통수권자다. 일단 출국금지부터 조치하고 해외 도피시 송금할 수도 있으니 계좌 동결도 같이 해야 된다'고 하자, "출국금지에 관해 수사 지휘를 했다"고 밝혔다. 수사 지휘를 했다는 것은 수사관들에게 출국금지를 신청하도록 지시했다는 의미다.
오동운 처장은 그러면서 "내란죄의 수괴와 내란죄의 중요 범죄 종사자에 대해서는 구속수사를 원칙으로 해서 열심히 이 수사를 진행하려고 하는 의지를 가지고 있다"고 강조했다.
한편, 공수처는 윤 대통령을 직권 남용과 내란 혐의로 수사하고 있다.
