배달의민족 운영사 ㈜우아한형제들은 겨울 방학 동안 결식 우려 아동 1,000명에게 식사를 지원하는 ‘배민방학도시락’ 캠페인을 이달 31일까지 진행한다고 12월 10일 밝혔다.
이번 캠페인은 1월 6일부터 2월 26일까지 8주 동안 진행되며, 전국 8개 지역의 아동에게 매주 도시락 한 끼와 식사권 3매를 제공, 총 3만 2,000끼니를 지원할 예정이다. 후원금은 도시락 제작에 전액 사용되며, 배민은 식사권을 후원한다.
‘배민방학도시락’은 2020년 시작된 사회공헌 사업으로, 지금까지 8번의 방학 동안 358개 학교의 5,183명 아동에게 11만 7,554끼니를 지원했다. 이번 겨울방학 사업으로 누적 지원 규모는 15만 끼니에 이를 전망이다.
이 캠페인은 단순한 식사 지원을 넘어, 학교 선생님이 아동의 안부를 확인하며 도시락을 전달하는 돌봄 역할도 포함된다. 아동은 배민 식사권을 통해 원하는 음식을 선택할 수 있는 기회를 제공받는다.
또한, 겨울방학 동안 ‘도서 기프트 카드’와 경제 교육 프로그램인 ‘KB스타경제교실’도 지원하여 다양한 경험을 제공할 예정이다. 후원 참여는 ‘배민방학도시락’ 홈페이지 및 배민 앱, KB증권 앱에서 가능하다.
우아한형제들 김중현 실장은 “배민방학도시락은 방학 동안 아이들의 끼니와 안전을 살피는 사업으로 자리 잡았다”며, 앞으로도 다양한 파트너와 함께 아이들이 든든한 방학을 보낼 수 있도록 노력하겠다고 밝혔다.
Bae Min Supports Meals for Children at Risk of Hunger during Winter Break

Ua Han Brothers, an ethnic delivery service operator, announced on Dec. 10 that it will run the 'Bae Min Vacation Lunch' campaign until Dec. 31 to provide meals to 1,000 children who are at risk of going hungry during winter break.
The campaign will run for eight weeks, from January 6 to February 26, and will provide one lunch box and three meal vouchers to children in eight regions across the country every week, for a total of 32,000 meals. All donations will be used to produce the lunch boxes, and Bae Min will sponsor the meal vouchers.
The Bae Min Vacation Lunch Program was launched in 2020 and has provided 117,554 meals to 5,183 children from 358 schools over eight vacations. This winter vacation program will bring the cumulative total to 150,000 meals.
The campaign goes beyond just providing meals, but also includes a caregiving role, with school teachers checking in on children and delivering lunch boxes. Children are given the opportunity to choose the food they want through the Bae Min Meal Voucher.
In addition, we will also support 'book gift cards' and 'KB Star Economic Classroom,' an economic education program, to provide various experiences during the winter break. Donations can be made on the 'Bae Min Vacation Lunch' website, the Bae Min app, and the KB Securities app.
