홍성군이 취약계층의 한파 피해 예방과 동절기 생활 안정을 위해 촘촘하고 발 빠른 대비에 나섰다고 11일 밝혔다.
군은 올해 겨울을 맞아 복지사각지대, 돌봄 취약계층, 지역 어르신, 노숙 등 단 한 명의 주민도 추위의 위험에 방치되지 않도록 포괄적이고 선제적인 복지 지원 대책을 본격 가동하고 있다.
홍성군은 기후 변화로 인한 급격한 기온 변동에 대비해 한국 에너지재단과 협력하여 전액 국비 지원 단열 및 난방 공사를 추진하고 있다. 충남 도내 15개 시군 중 최다인 150가구를 배정받아 추가 신청을 통해 총 199가구의 난방 개선 공사를 진행 중이다. 이를 통해 취약계층 가구의 따뜻하고 안전한 겨울을 보낼 수 있도록 지원하고 있다.
