브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= 넥슨은 액션 RPG 신작 ‘퍼스트 버서커: 카잔’을 2025년 3월 28일(한국시간) 국내 및 글로벌 정식 출시한다고 13일 밝혔다.
넥슨은 12일(현지시각) 미국 로스앤젤레스에서 개최된 북미 최대 게임 시상식 ‘더 게임 어워드(The Game Awards, TGA)’에서 ‘카잔’의 신규 트레일러와 정식 출시 일정을 공개했다. 2025년 3월 28일 국내 및 글로벌 정식 출시 예정이며, PC(Steam), PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S에서 만나볼 수 있다.
새롭게 공개한 트레일러는 다수의 글로벌 대작 영화를 제작한 AGBO 스튜디오의 루소 형제(Anthony and Joe Russo)가 연출을 맡았다. 대장군 ‘카잔’이 ‘블레이드 팬텀’의 힘을 통해 각성하는 장면부터 원작 ‘던전앤파이터’에서 등장했던 용족 ‘바이퍼’ 군단과의 박진감 넘치는 전투를 루소 형제 특유의 영화 같은 연출로 그려냈다.
아울러 2025년 3월 27일까지 Steam, PlayStation 5 및 Microsoft 스토어에서 ‘카잔’ 예약 판매를 진행한다. 스탠다드 에디션은 실물 패키지 또는 디지털 버전으로 만나볼 수 있으며, 게임 내에서 사용할 수 있는 ‘몰락한 별의 방어구 세트’ 아이템을 제공한다.
디럭스 에디션은 디지털 버전으로 출시되며, 구매 시 ‘영웅의 무기 세트’, ‘영웅의 방어구 세트’와 디지털 아트북, 출시 전 ‘카잔’을 72시간 먼저 플레이할 수 있는 얼리 액세스(앞서 해보기) 기회가 추가 특전으로 제공된다.
정식 출시 전 더 많은 유저들이 ‘카잔’의 게임성을 경험할 수 있도록 2025년 1월 17일부터 Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S를 통해 체험판을 선보인다. 도입부를 탐험하는 과정에서 정교하고 깊이 있는 액션 공방을 경험할 수 있으며, 유저들이 체험판에서 플레이한 내역은 정식 출시 시점에 이어서 즐길 수 있도록 저장 데이터가 연동된다.
