[브레이크뉴스=주윤한 기자] 거창군은 16일 거창청년사이에서 행정과 민간 이음추진단 30명이 참석해 ‘지방소멸 대응 거창군 이음추진단 민관 워크숍’을 개최했다.
군은 지방소멸대응기금 투자사업의 상향식 정책 발굴로 지역 여건과 투자계획의 정합성을 제고하고 지역 전문가, 중간 지원조직, 지역활동가 등이 참여하는 민관산학 협업 구축을 위해 거창군 이음추진단을 구성해 운영하고 있다.
이날 워크숍은 지난 4월 이음추진단 리빙랩 워크숍 이후 2회째 열리는 자리로 2025년 지방소멸대응기금 세부 사업과 2026년 투자계획 수립 방향 설명 후 질의응답의 시간을 갖고 사업 추진 및 투자 방향에 대한 의견을 수렴하고 지방소멸 위기 대응을 위한 지역의 이슈들에 대해서도 논의했다.
특히 이음추진단은 2025년 투자사업에 포함된 영유아 돌봄과 학령기 돌봄에 대해 필요성과 태아부터 12세까지 돌봄체계를 완성하는 거창초등학교 복합화 사업에 대해 이해를 높였고 지난 워크숍에서 분과별로 제시한 의견들이 다 반영되지 못한 부분에 대해서 아쉬움도 드러냈다.
또한, 참석자들은 분과별로 토론과 의견교환을 통해 의견을 제시했으며 군은 이번 워크숍 의견과 부서의 사업 제안, 중앙부처 연계사업 발굴 등을 통해 저출산 대응, 청년 정착, 생활인구 유입을 위한 지역 맞춤형 사업으로 투자계획을 수립할 계획이다.
이남열 전략담당관은 “우리나라도 내년이면 초고령 국가에 진입하고 소멸위기 논의를 통해 실질적인 해법이 필요하다”며 “구슬조차 없으면 아름다운 보석으로 꿰지 못한다 이 자리에서 많은 구슬을 만들어 달라”고 당부했다.
한편 거창군 이음추진단은 △승강기산업·로컬관광 △임신·출산·보육, 청년 △교육, 정주여건 등 지역이음, 청년이음, 세대이음 3개 분과로 구성해 지방소멸 대응을 위한 지역의 이슈 발굴 및 정책 제안, 투자계획의 자문 및 의견 제시, 기금사업 모니터링 및 사후관리 지원 등의 역할을 하고 있다.
