윤석열 대통령 측이 25일 예정된 고위공직자범죄수사처 소환 조사 출석이 어렵다는 입장을 24일 밝혔다.
윤 대통령 변호인단·탄핵심판 대리인단 구성에 관여 중인 석동현 변호사는 24일 기자들과 만나 "내일 출석은 어렵다 본다"며 "아직 여건이 안 됐다"고 전했다.
그러면서 "윤 대통령은 헌법재판소 탄핵심판 절차가 우선이라 생각한다"며 탄핵 여부에 따른 수사에 응할지 여부 결정 관련해선 "다 끝나고 하자는 게 아닌 적어도 초반부 윤 대통령 입장 개요는 알려야 된다는 것"이라고 했다.
또 "탄핵심판 절차가 가닥 잡히고 어느 정도 탄핵소추 피청구인으로서 대통령의 기본적 입장이 재판관·국민에 설명 되는 게 우선"이라며 "성탄절 이후 대통령과 변호인단 측 입장 표명이 있을 것"이라고 전했다.
앞서 공조수사본부는 윤 대통령에게 25일 오전 10시 공수처에 출석하라고 2차 소환 통보를 했다.
