한국신문방송인협회(한창건 이사장)는 12월26일 한국언론진흥재단 20층 국제회의장에서 열린 제 9회 ‘대한민국사회발전대상’ 시상식을 성료했다고 밝혔다.
이 자리에서 펜타힐메디컬그룹 김여주 이사장은 의료관광부문대상을 수상했다.

(사)한국신문방송인협회는 올해 창립 30주년 된 중견 언론인의 단체로 신문·방송 등 각종 언론분야에 종사하고 있는 언론인들이 주축이 되어 활동하고 있다.
국내외 각종 언론분야에 관한 학술연구로 국가사회발전에 일익을 담당하고 있으며, 매년 ‘한국언론대상’과‘ ’뉴리더 대상’등시상을 통해 언론문화 창달에 이바지하고 있으며 뉴미디어시대에 발 맞추어 글로벌 크리에이터 연구소를 운영하고 있다.
이번 시상식은 정체되어있는 우리나라의 새로운 도약을 위해 국민적 공감대를 형성하고 우리 사회의 다양한 각 분야에서 묵묵히 사회 발전에 중추적 역할과 진흥에 공이 큰 주요 인물, 기업(기관), 단체들을 부문별로 선정하여 그간의 희생과 노고 대해 격려하는 행사이다.
국회의정부문 대상에는 ? 조경태 국회의원 ? 한정애 국회의원, 지방행정부문대상에는 ?주낙영 경주시장 지방자치의정부문 대상에는 ?강원특별자치도의회 박윤미 도의원등이 수상했다.
산업분야에서는 △ TV 디스플레이부문 대상에 와이드테크 조민재 회장 △ K-뷰티 부문 대상에 조승아 가인미가 대표 △ 헬스케어/의료관광부문 대상에 펜타힐메디컬그룹 김여주 이사장등이 수상의 영예를 안았다.
조민재 회장은 대한민국 혁신 대상을 수상한 TV 디스플레이 전문기업 와이드테크 회장으로 각종 사회봉사에도 적극적으로 활동하고있는 공로를 인정받았다.
가인미가 조승아 대표는 중소기업부가 선정한 신지식인으로 에스테틱 산업분야에서 전문성과 신뢰를 바탕으로 업계발전에 이바지하고 정기적으로 장애인의 이·미용을 지원하는 봉사활동을 한 공로로 수상했다.
헬스케어와 의료관광부문 대상을 수상한 김여주 이사장은 의학박사로 의료관광과 줄기세포 분야 전문가로 활동하면서 한국여성중앙총연합회 의료봉사단장으로 활동하며 다양한 의료봉사활동을 통해 사회적 역할을 수행하고 있는 공로를 인정받아 수상하게 되었다.

김여주 이사장은 “지난 20여년간 정혈과 줄기세포등 헬스케어와 의료관광부문에서 역할을 한 것이 인정받아 기쁘다.”며 “앞으로도 계속 의료관광분야에서 활동하며 국민의 건강은 물론 국익에 기여하겠다.”고 소감을 밝혔다.

At the ceremony, Pentahill Medical Group CEO Kim Yeo-ju won the Medical Tourism Sector Grand Prize.

Chairman Min-jae Cho is the Chairman of Wide Tech, a TV display company that won the Korea Innovation Award and was recognized for his active participation in various social services.
Gainmi CEO Cho Seung-ah was selected as a new intellectual by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups for her contribution to the development of the aesthetic industry based on her expertise and trust, and for her regular volunteer work supporting the beauty and hair care of the disabled.
Chairwoman Kim Yeo-ju, who won the grand prize in the healthcare and medical tourism sector, was recognized for her contribution to society through various medical volunteer activities while working as a medical tourism and stem cell specialist with a doctorate and serving as the head of the medical volunteer group of the Korean Women’s Federation.
