이번 확보한 특별교부세의 세부 내역은 호탄동 방아교차로 개선사업 6억원, 금산 덕의마을사거리 회전교차로 설치사업 5억원, 진주동부보훈회관 내진보강공사 6억원 등 총 7건이다.
호탄동 방아교차로 개선사업은 역세권 대단지 아파트들의 준공과 함께 거주 인구가 증가함에 따라 출ㆍ퇴근시간 교통혼잡 완화에 크게 기여할 것으로 기대된다.
또 진주동부보훈회관 내진보강공사는 공공건축물에 기초보강 및 철골보강 등으로 안전성을 강화해 시민들이 보다 안심하고 이용할 수 있도록 할 예정이다.
