혼란과 불안 속에서 한 해를 보내고 2025년 을사년 새해를 맞았습니다. 올해도 어렵고 힘든 해가 될 것으로 전망하고 있지만, 교육이 나라의 미래라는 굳건한 마음을 갖고 세종교육은 흔들리지 않고 나아갈 것입니다.
우리 교육청이 새롭게 조정한 3대 핵심정책과제는 모두가 특별해지는 세종교육을 실천하고, 학교 자치를 강화하는 방향성을 담고 있습니다.
‘기초학력 책임교육 강화’,‘생활·정서·학습 통합지원’,‘교육활동 중심학교 구현’의 핵심정책과제를 통해 세종에서 자라나는 아이들과 학생들이 건강한 시민으로 성장할 수 있도록 최선의 노력을 다하겠습니다.
2025년에는 고교학점제가 운영되고, 세종캠퍼스고와 산울 초·중 통합학교가 새롭게 문을 엽니다. 변화하는 교육환경에서 학생들이 안정적으로 배우고 깨우칠 수 있도록 아낌없는 지원을 이어가겠습니다.
세종에서는 교실 안 배움과 학교 밖 배움이 함께 이뤄지면서 마을이 학교라는 생각이 확대되고 있고, 시민이 교사라는 교육주체의 인식이 강화되고 있습니다. 우리교육청이 강조하는‘생각하는 사람 참여하는 시민’은 세종교육공동체가 함께 만들어갑니다.
우리 학생들은 격랑과 혼란의 시기에서도 더 나은 민주주의를 배우고, 시민의식을 키우면서 당당한 미래세대의 주인공이 될 것입니다.
