브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 윤석열 대통령 측 변호인단은 8일 윤 대통령이 체포영장 집행을 피해 관저에서 몰래 나와 도피했다는 의혹에 대해, 거짓 선동이라며 자괴감이 들 정도라고 밝혔다.
윤 대통령 측 윤갑근 변호사는 이날 서울 서초구 한국컨퍼런스센터에서 기자들과 만나 "국회에서 어제 대통령이 도피했다는 제보를 받았다고 악의적 소문을 퍼뜨렸는데, 제가 어제 분명히 관저에서 뵙고 나왔다"며 "있을 수 없는 악의적 거짓 선동"이라고 비판했다.
윤 변호사는 이어 "특정한 목적을 가지고 악의적 소문을 만드는 게 21세기 법치주의를 지향하는 자유민주국가 대한민국에서 일어날 수 있는지 자괴감이 든다"고 했다.
그는 또한 체포영장 집행과 관련해선 "체포영장은 조사를 하기 위한 것인데, (피의자) 조사가 수사에 반드시 필요한 건 아니다"라며 "그럼에도 조사를 해야겠다면 기소를 하거나 구속영장을 서울중앙지법에 청구하라. 그럼 절차에 응하겠다"고 전했다.
특히 그는 "경찰특공대와 기동대를 동원해 대통령을 체포하는 것이 오히려 내란"이라며 "이러한 불법을 윤 대통령이 수용하겠나"라고 반문했다.
헌법재판소 탄핵심판에 출석할지 여부에 대해선 "탄핵 사유에서 내란죄를 철회한 부분 등 혼란스러운 부분이 어느정도 정리되어 대통령이 가서 말할 수 있는 여건이 됐을 때 갈 것"이라고 전했다.
그러면서 "출석 횟수에 제한을 두고 있지는 않겠다. 그러나 경호나 신변 보호 문제가 해결돼야 (출석)한다"고 덧붙였다.
한편, 안규백 더불어민주당 의원은 이날 "윤 대통령이 이미 용산 관저를 빠져나와 도피했을 가능성이 있는 제보를 받았다"면서 "경찰도 윤 대통령 소재 파악을 하고 있다는 얘기를 전날 들었는데, 관저에 있으면 굳이 소재파악을 할 필요가 없지 않겠나. 도피가 사실이라면 잡범도 이런 잡범은 없을 것"이라고 비판했다.
