8일 울진보건소에 따르면 2024년 50주차(12.8.∼'14.) 인플루엔자 표본감시 결과, 인플루엔자 의사환자 분율이 외래환자 1,000명당 13.6명(경북 9.6명)으로 이번절기유행기준(8.6명)을 초과함에 따라, 2024-2025절기 인플루엔자 유행주의보가 발령됐다.

이에, 울진군보건소에서는 지역사회 인플루엔자 확산 방지를 위하여 어린이집·유치원, 학교 등 교육시설 및 의료기관, 감염취약시설에서는 마스크 착용, 손씻기, 기침예절 실천, 실내 환기 등 호흡기 감염병 예방수칙 실천을 이행 해줄 것을 당부했다.

손병복 울진군수는 “최근 유행중인 인플루엔자바이러스 유형 은 A형(H1N1)으로 이번절기 백신주와 매우 유사하여 백신접종으로 충분한 예방효과를 기대할 수 있으므로, '24-'25절기 인플루엔자 국가예방접종지원사업 접종대상 및 군민분들께서는 빠른시일 내 예방접종을 완료할 수 있도록 부탁드린다”라고 말했다.
