오는 3월 5일 치뤄지는 전국동시새마을금고이사장선거를 앞두고 입후보 설명회가 이달 13일 열린다.
8일 세종시선거관리위원회(이하 시선관위)에 따르면 이날 오후 2시 시 선관위 2층 대회의실에서 입후보 설명회를 개최한다고 밝혔다.
이번 설명회에서 시선관위는 (예비)후보자등록 신청서류 작성 및 선거운동 방법, 위법행위 예방·단속에 관한 사항 등 선거사무 전반에 대해 안내할 예정이다.
새마을금고이사장선거는 그동안 금고 자체적으로 관리했으나 새마을금고법 개정으로 이번 동시이사장선거부터는 선거관리위원회가 위탁받아 관리하게 됐다.
한편, 동시이사장선거의 예비후보자 등록기간은 1월 21일부터 2월 17일까지며, 후보자 등록기간은 2월 18일부터 19일까지 이틀간 이뤄진다.
