충남 당진시가 지난해에 이어 올해에도 ‘전세보증금 반환보증 보증료 지원사업’을 추진한다고 13일 밝혔다.
이 사업은 전세보증금 반환보증에 가입한 무주택 임차인을 대상으로 보증료를 지원하는 프로그램이다.
‘전세보증금 반환보증 보증료 지원사업’은 주택도시보증공사(HUG), 한국주택금융공사(HF), 서울보증(SGI)에 가입한 경우, 실제 납부한 보증료 범위 내에서 최대 30만 원까지 지원된다.
지원 대상은 신청일 기준 보증보험에 가입한 자로, 임차보증금이 3억 원 이하인 무주택 임차인이다.
특히 청년(18세~39세)은 연소득 5000만 원 이하, 청년 외 시민은 6000만 원 이하, 신혼부부는 7500만 원 이하의 소득 조건을 충족해야 한다.
다만, 주택 소유자, 외국인 및 국내에 거주하지 않는 재외국민, 등록임대사업자의 임대주택 임차인, 법인 등은 지원 대상에서 제외된다.
당진시는 이번 지원사업을 통해 무주택 임차인들의 주거 안정성을 높이고, 전세보증금 반환에 대한 부담을 덜어줄 것으로 기대하고 있다.
