GC녹십자(대표 허은철)가 13일, ‘그린노즈플러스 연질캡슐’(이하 그린노즈플러스)을 리뉴얼 출시했다고 발표했다. 이번 신제품은 카페인무수물이 첨가되어 기존 제품보다 졸음 부작용이 완화되었으며, 코감기 증상 완화에 효과가 빠른 점이 특징이다.
‘그린노즈플러스’는 항히스타민제인 클로르페니라민말레산염을 함유하고 있어 콧물 증상 완화에 효과적이며, 항콜린제인 벨라돈나총알칼로이드가 추가되어 콧물 및 기관지 분비물 감소에도 도움을 준다. 특히, 이번 리뉴얼 제품에는 카페인무수물이 포함되어 있어 각성 효과를 제공, 항히스타민제 제품에서 흔히 나타나는 졸음 부작용을 줄였다.
새롭게 약국에서 판매되는 그린노즈플러스는 연두색 타원형 연질캡슐 제형으로, 만 15세 이상 및 성인이 1회 1캡슐, 1일 3회 매 식후 복용하면 된다.
GC녹십자 관계자는 “그린노즈플러스 연질캡슐은 미국 식품의약국(FDA)의 페닐레프린염산염 사용 중단 권고 이후 새롭게 출시된 제품으로, 페닐레프린염산염 대신 카페인무수물이 첨가된 점이 특징”이라며, “이번 리뉴얼 제품이 알레르기성 비염, 코막힘 등으로 고통받는 분들에게 더욱 효과적인 선택이 되기를 바란다”고 전했다.

GC Green Cross (CEO Heo Eun-cheol) announced on the 13th that it has renewed Green Nose Plus Soft Capsules (hereinafter referred to as Green Nose Plus). The new product is characterized by the addition of caffeine anhydrous, which alleviates the side effects of drowsiness compared to the previous product, and is effective in relieving cold symptoms quickly.
Green Nose Plus contains chlorpheniramine maleate, an antihistamine, which is effective in relieving runny nose symptoms, and belladonna total alkaloids, an anticholinergic agent, are added to help reduce runny nose and bronchial secretions. In particular, the new formulation contains caffeine anhydrous, which provides a stimulant effect, reducing the drowsy side effects commonly associated with antihistamines.
The new Green Nose Plus is available in pharmacies in the form of light green oval soft capsules and is recommended for adults aged 15 years and older to take one capsule, three times daily, after each meal.
“Green Nose Plus soft capsules were reformulated after the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) recommended the discontinuation of phenylephrine hydrochloride and feature caffeine anhydrous instead of phenylephrine hydrochloride,” said a representative from GC Green Cross. ”We hope this renewed product will be a more effective option for those suffering from allergic rhinitis and nasal congestion.”
