KT는 매년 명절을 앞두고 협력사들에게 납품 대금을 미리 지급해왔으며, 자금난으로 어려움을 겪는 협력사들을 위해 1000억원 규모의 저금리 상생협력펀드를 운영하는 등 협력사 경영 안정을 위한 다양한 방법으로 지원하고 있다.
아울러 KT는 윤리경영 실천 강화를 위해 ‘클린 KT 캠페인’을 시행한다. 협력사 등 이해관계자와 선물을 주고받는 것을 금지하고, 부득이하게 임직원에게 선물이 전달된 경우 발송인에게 거절 서한을 동봉해 반송 처리하거나 봉사단체에 기부한다.
KT는 동반성장지수 평가 대상 232개 기업 중 10년 연속 최우수 등급을 받은 6개 회사 중 하나로, 10년간 상생협력 프로그램을 지속적으로 운영해오고 있다.
KT 구매실장 이원준 전무는 “KT는 협력사들의 명절 자금난 해소를 위해 매년 명절에 앞서 납품대금을 조기 지급하고 있다”며 “앞으로도 KT는 협력사와 함께 성장하며, AICT 생태계를 더욱 발전시키 위해 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
