세종시교육청이 2024학년도 겨울방학부터 ‘방학 중 아이들의 성장 지원’ 사업을 전체 54개 초등학교에 전면 시행한다고 밝혔다.

‘방학 중 아이들의 성장 지원’ 정책의 주된 목표는 방학 기간 동안 발생할 수 있는 학습 결손과 격차를 예방하는 것이다.
