브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= KB국민은행은 17일 설 명절을 앞두고 소상공인 및 지역사회 이웃과의 상생 실천을 위한 ‘2025 설날맞이 전통시장 사랑나눔 행사’를 진행했다고 밝혔다.
‘전통시장 사랑나눔 행사’는 명절을 맞이해 경기불황으로 어려움을 겪고 있는 전통시장과 소상공인을 돕고, 지역사회 이웃에게도 온기를 전달하기 위해 마련됐다.
KB국민은행의 전국 12개 지역영업그룹이 비영리단체 ‘희망친구 기아대책’과 전국 전통시장에서 쌀, 고기, 과일 등의 식료품을 구매하고, 구매한 식료품을 지역사회 복지시설에 전달하며 따뜻한 나눔을 실천하고 있다.
‘전통시장 사랑나눔 행사’는 2011년부터 올해까지 총 15년동안 진행됐으며, 지금까지 총 141억원 상당의 식료품을 전통시장에서 구입해 21만2000여 지역사회 이웃에게 전달했다.
이날 행사에는 조용익 부천시장, 최창남 희망칙구 기아대책 회장, 김경완 중동사랑시장 상인회장, 박병곤 KB국민은행 영업그룹 이사부행장 등 유관기관 관계자 및 부천중동사랑시장 상인들이 참석했다.
이 날 박병곤 KB국민은행 영업그룹 이사부행장은 경기도 부천시에 위치한 중동사랑시장을 방문해 상인들을 응원하고, 지역사회 이웃을 위한 선물을 직접 구매했다.
박병곤 이사부행장은 “모두가 행복한 명절을 보내길 바라는 마음으로, 전국 곳곳의 전통시장에서 사랑나눔 행사를 진행하고 있다”며 “시장 소상공인과 각 지역사회 이웃들 모두가 따뜻하고 풍요로운 설 명절이 되길 바란다”고 말했다.
