브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 공위공직자범죄수사처(공수처)는 20일 내란 수괴 혐의로 구속된 윤석열 대통령이 출석 조사를 거듭 불응하자, 강제구인을 유력하게 검토하고 있는 것으로 전해졌다.
공수처 관계자는 이날 오전 10시30분경 정부과천 청사에서 기자들과 만나 "오늘 오전 10시 출석을 통보했는데 나오지 않았다. 출석하지 않겠다거나 하는 의사나 연락은 없었다"고 밝혔다.
이어 "법과 절차에 따라 강제 구인을 유력하게 검토하고 있다"고 전했다.
대법원 판례를 보면 구속영장이 발부된 피의자가 수사기관 수사에 불응할 경우 수사기관은 피의자를 강제로 조사실로 불러 조사에 나설 수 있다.
다만 공수처 검사가 서울구치소로 가는 출장 조사를 할 가능성도 존재한다. 공수처 관계자는 "조사가 시급한 상황이라 구치소 현장조사 가능성도 완전히 배제한 상황은 아니다"라고 설명했다.
한편 윤 대통령은 전날과 이날 공수처 출석 조사 통보에 모두 불응하고 있다.
