지난 1월 17일 한국국제통상마이스터고등학교 졸업식에는 정원호 본부장이 참석하여 9명의 졸업생에게 직접 장학증서를 전달했다.
이 날 정원호 본부장은 ”졸업은 또 다른 시작점이며, 고등학교 과정을 마친 뒤 맞이하게 될 불확실함과 두려움을 이겨내고 도전정신을 발휘하길 바란다. 며, ”졸업 후에도 선생님과 친구들과 소중한 인연을 이어가 협력할 수 있는 관계가 지속되길 응원한다“고 축사를 전했다.
월성원자력본부는 장학금 지원 뿐만 아니라 누키멘토즈, 해외어학연수 등의 다양한 프로그램을 통해 발전소 주변지역 학생들의 꿈과 재능을 키워주는 든든한 후원자로서 자리를 지키고 있다.
