에코센트레(대표 이재영)는 '플라스틱히어로 AI로봇'이 2024년 하반기 조달청 혁신제품에 지정되었다고 밝혔다.
혁신제품에 지정된 제품은 3년간 국가 및 지방자치단체와의 수의계약, 조달청 자체 예산 시범구매 사업 참여와 구매담당자의 구매면책 등 다양한 구매 지원을 비롯해 공공시장에서의 판로 확대 지원을 받게 된다.
'플라스틱히어로 AI로봇'은 편리하고 쉽게 페트병을 배출할 수 있도록 설계된 플라스틱 수거 기계이다.
사용자가 페트병을 기계에 투입하면, 이미지 인식 기술과 AI 분석을 통해 자동으로 쓰레기를 분류한다.
페트병 1개당 50포인트가 적립되며, 포인트는 실생활에서 현금처럼 사용할 수 있다.
