세종시교육청이 올해 기초학력 책임교육 강화에 나서기로 했다.
또 복합적인 어려움을 겪는 학생들을 위한 통합지원 시스템을 구축하고 교육에만 전념할 수 있는 환경을 조성하기로 했다.
최교진 세종시교육감은 21일 시교육청에 신년 기자회견을 열고 이러한 내용을 담은 올해 주요 업무계획을 발표했다.
우선 맞춤형 교육을 실현하기 위해 유아학교 시범기관 운영을 내실화하고 협의체를 운영하는 등 안정적인 온(溫) 세종 유보통합 준비에 나서기로 했다.
학교급 간 교육과정 통합 내실화를 위해 세종시 최초의 초·중통합학교인 산울초·중학교 개교 지원도 이루어진다. 학생들의 학교급 전환 적응을 돕고 진로 교육 강화를 위한 유·초·중·고 이음교육과정도 활성화된다.
디지털 대전환 시대에 따라 미래사회를 주도할 창의적이고 융합적인 인재양성을 위해 과학.수학.정보 종합프로젝트인 '이도프로젝트'도 추진된다.
고교학점제가 전면 적용되는 첫 해인 만큼 3월 개교 예정인 세종캠퍼스고등학교가 원활히 운영될 수 있도록 지원에 나서기로 했다.
건강.체력.인성.시민성 함양을 위해 학교스포츠클럽도 활성화되고 마을 단위 스포츠클럽 ‘동동동‘과 창의융합스포츠스쿨 운영이 확대된다.
미래교육 환경 조성을 위해 정보화 기자재, 스마트 기기, 무선망 등을 차질 없이 지원하고, 디지털 과의존 예방과 올바른 미디어 사용 습관 형성을 위한 정보통신윤리교육을 내실 있게 운영된다.
특화된 공간에서 미래교육과정을 운영하는 스마트학교와 자유롭고 유연한 교육과정을 추구하는 공립형 대안학교인 미래상상학교 설립을 지속적으로 추진하기로 했다.
세종특수교육원 개원 준비와 북부특수교육지원센터 확장에 따른 활성화 방안을 마련해 읍면지역 특수학급 지원 내실화를 기하기로 했다.
학습권을 보장하는 교육복지를 실현하기 위해 지난 해에 이어 쉼과 놀이 그리고 배움이 있는 세종형 늘봄학교 운영을 확대하기로 했다.
초등학교 2학년까지 맞춤형 프로그램 무상지원과 아동친화적 공간이 구축된다. 교원 안전 확보를 위한 ‘학교민원상담실‘ 구축, ‘교육활동 침해 악성민원지원팀‘ 운영, ‘교원마음건강사업‘ 추진을 통해 교원의 심리 안정을 지원에 나설 방침이다.
삶의 질을 높이는 교육생태계 조성을 위해 위기학생의 부모가 자녀의 마음건강 문제를 쉽게 접근·상담할 수 있도록 학부모 콜센터를 운영하고, 복합커뮤니티센터 등을 활용해 학부모 교육을 강화하기로 했다.
