참여 독려 문자를 보낸 것으로 알려진 대통령실 행정관은 지난 21일 사직서를 제출한 것으로 파악됐다.
이 행정관은 '내일(21일) 2시에 대통령께서 헌법재판소에 직접 출석하십니다. 응원이 필요합니다. 안국역에서 헌법재판소로 향하는 모든 곳에서 대통령님을 응원해 주시기 바랍니다. 감사합니다'라는 내용으로 문자를 발송했다.
뉴시스 보도에 따르면 대통령실 관계자는 해당 행정관이 평소 알고 지내던 지인들에게 개인적으로 문자를 보냈던 것이라며 대통령실과는 관련이 없다고 일축했다. 독려문자를 보낸 사실이 알려지자, 해당 행정관은 21일 사직서를 냈다.
