[브레이크뉴스=박찬호 기자] 대한적십자사 경남지사는 1차(5일~12일 인제대) 및 2차(19일~26일 경남대) 대학적십자(RCY) 인도네시아 해외봉사활동을 진행했다고 31일 밝혔다.
이번 봉사활동은 인제대학교(1차) 및 경남대학교(2차)와 함께, 대한적십자사 경남지사가 주관하였으며 LIG넥스원의 후원으로 진행됐다.
1차(지도자 5명, 회원 30명 등 총 35명) 및 2차(지도자 5명, 회원 40명 등 총 45명)으로 구성된 해외봉사단은 체계적이고 안전한 봉사활동을 위해 각각 1박 2일간의 사전교육을 진행했다.
봉사단은 인도네시아 현지의 학교 및 낙후 지역을 방문하여 각종 교육봉사, 문화교류활동, 운동회, 우정의 선물상자(총 340개) 전달, LIG넥스원 에코백(총 500개) 전달, 기후위기 장소 탐방 등 현지 학생들과 교감하고 소통하는 자리를 마련했다. 또한, 환경시설개선을 위한 BIOPORI(유기체폐기물 배수구) 설치 및 나무심기 등 자연재난 예방 인도주의 봉사활동을 펼쳤다.
박희순 경남적십자사 회장은 해외봉사단과 함께 인도네시아 적십자 본사를 방문하여 양국의 국제 교류 및 협력 증진을 통한 적십자 인도주의 보급 확대 방안에 대해 논의했다.
