오성환 당진시장이 이달 6일 송악읍을 시작으로 24일까지 14개 읍면동을 순차적으로 방문하여 주민들과의 대화 시간을 갖는다.
이번 순방은 민선 8기 4년 차를 맞아 시정 운영 방향을 시민들과 공유하고, 현장에서 시민의 목소리를 듣기 위한 노력의 일환으로 진행된다.
순방의 주요 목적은 시민들의 애로사항을 시책으로 구체화하여 시정 발전 방향에 대한 공감대를 형성하는 것이다.
오 시장은 “시민들의 피부로 느끼는 애로사항을 현장에서 듣고 사업을 구체화해 민생문제를 해결하겠다”고 밝혔다.
이번 순방은 민선 8기 시정 운영 방향 설명, 읍면동장의 주요 현안 사항 발표, 주민과의 대화, 그리고 주요 현안 지역 방문 순으로 진행된다. 매일 두 차례, 오전 10시와 오후 3시에 진행될 예정이며, 방문 일정은 다음과 같다:

2월 11일: 합덕읍, 우강면, 2월 12일: 고대면, 석문면
