충청남도 서산시가 교육 혁신을 통해 지역 인재 양성과 지역 수요에 맞춘 공교육 혁신을 위해 180억 원을 투입한다.
지난해 교육발전특구 시범지역으로 선정된 서산시는 국비 90억 원을 포함한 총 180억 원을 2026년까지 투입하여 교육발전특구 사업에 본격 착수할 예정이다.
이번 사업의 주요 내용은 항공, 화학, 첨단 모빌리티 등 지역 특화 산업에 맞춘 미래 인재 교육 ,지역 특화 교과서 개발을 통한 공교육 혁신 ,365일 24시간 돌봄 서비스 제공 등으로 구성된다.
올해에는 관내 초등학생을 대상으로 한 돌봄 서비스가 제공될 해봄센터가 동문동 233-4번지에 조성될 예정이다. 이 해봄센터는 학교 늘봄과 지자체 돌봄 기능을 통합하여 운영되며, 서산시 관내 초등학생들은 언제든지 365일 24시간 이용할 수 있다.
