이번 연휴는 기간이 길어 비상사태 발생 가능성이 높았으나, 거창군 수도사업소는 19명의 공무원과 임대형 민간투자사업 운영사 등 총 7개 협력업체로 구성된 ‘설연휴 특별비상대책반’을 운영해 발생한 민원에 대해 신속히 대응하고 복구 조치를 완료했다.
