충남 서산시가 시력 회복 및 실명 예방을 위한 눈 수술비 지원사업을 시행한다고 5일 밝혔다.
이 사업은 경제적 이유로 수술을 받지 못하는 저소득층을 지원하기 위해 마련되었다.
지원 대상은 60세 이상의 기초생활수급자, 차상위계층, 한부모가족 등이며, 기초생활수급자 중 의료급여 1종 수급자는 지원 대상에서 제외된다.
지원되는 수술은 백내장, 망막질환(황반변성), 녹내장, 눈물샘 관련 수술 및 주사 등으로, 실명 예방이 가능한 안과 질환에 해당한다.
신청은 상시 가능하며, 대상자는 수술할 병원에서 안과 진단서 또는 진료소견서를 발급받고, 읍면동 행정복지센터에서 자격증명서를 발급받은 후, 주소지 관할 보건소에서 신청하면 된다.
지원 사업은 한국실명예방재단에서 수술비를 지원하며, 제출 서류를 검토한 후 접수일로부터 10일 이내에 지원 결정을 개별 통보할 예정이다.
대상자로 선정되면 백내장, 녹내장, 사시수술, 안검하수 등 각종 수술비용이 지원되며, 수술 종류에 따라 지원금액은 10만 원에서 300만 원까지 다양하다.
