농업기술센터 관계자는 “과수화상병 의심 궤양 제거 시 감염 부위를 중심으로 하단 40~70cm 이상 절단하는 것이 효과적이며, 절단면에는 등록된 약제를 고르게 도포해 손상 조직을 보호해야 한다”고 설명했다. 또한 “전정가위, 톱 등 작업 도구와 작업복은 사용 후 반드시 소독해 2차 감염을 방지해야 한다”고 덧붙였다.
