거창군, 희귀질환자 의료비 지원 연중 추진

[브레이크뉴스=주윤한 기자] 거창군은 진단과 치료가 어려운 희귀난치성 질환자와 그 가족의 경제적 부담을 덜기 위해 희귀질환 의료비 지원사업을 연중 시행한다고 7일 밝혔다.

희귀질환자 의료비 지원사업은 희귀난치성 질환을 진단받고 산정 특례에 등록된 대상자에게 요양급여 본인부담금, 간병비, 특수식이 구입비 등을 지원하는 사업이다.

지원 대상자는 소득·재산 기준을 충족하는 건강보험 가입자, 의료급여수급권자, 차상위 본인 부담 경감자다.

올해는 지원 대상 질환이 66개 추가되면서 총 1,314개 질환으로 확대됐으며 기존에는 국민건강보험공단에 직접 방문해 신청해야 했으나, 우편이나 팩스로도 신청할 수 있게 됐다.

또한, 소득·재산 기준도 완화되어 기존에는 성인 기준 중위소득 120% 미만, 소아 기준중위소득 130% 미만이었으나, 올해부터는 중위소득 140% 미만 대상자로 일원화됐다.

희귀질환 해당 여부는 희귀질환 헬프라인 홈페이지에서 확인할 수 있으며 지원신청은 최근 3개월 이내 발급된 진단서 등 구비서류를 준비해 보건소를 방문하면 된다.
