당진시농업기술센터는 신규농업인들의 안정적인 농업기술 습득과 정착을 위해 2월 17일부터 2월 28일까지 신규농업인 현장실습 교육 연수생을 모집한다고 밝혔다.
이번 교육은 선도 농가와 연수생 간의 멘토-멘티 방식으로 진행되며, 연수 희망 작목의 영농기술, 품질관리, 경영 및 마케팅, 창업 등의 단계적 기술을 농업 현장에서 실습 위주로 배우는 기회를 제공한다.
매달 연수 일수에 따라 선도 농가는 월 40만 원 한도의 교수수당을 지급받고, 연수생은 월 80만 원 한도의 교육훈련비를 지원받게 된다.
연수생 신청 자격은 당진시 전입 5년 이내 귀농인, 만 40세 미만 청장년, 농업경영체 등록 5년 이내 신규농업인, 예비 귀농인(공인된 기관에서 실시한 귀농 교육 이수 35시간 이상인 귀촌인)이다.
현재 연수 가능한 작목으로는 딸기, 상추, 유러피안 샐러드, 블루베리 및 양봉 선도 농가가 지정되어 있으며, 연수생이 희망하는 작목에 대해서도 교육 신청이 가능하다.
