삼성증권(사장 박종문)은 중개형 ISA 계좌 수가 업계 최초로 120만 개를 넘어섰으며, 잔고도 4조 원을 초과했다고 발표했다. 특히, 2030 세대의 신규 가입이 두드러지며, 2023년 말 33만 개에서 2025년 1월 말 43만 개로 증가했다.
연령대별로는 20대가 45.8%, 30대가 25.1% 증가하며 가장 높은 증가율을 기록했다. ISA 계좌의 절세 혜택을 누리기 위해 저연령층의 가입이 활발해지고 있다.
1월 말 기준, 삼성증권 중개형 ISA 고객의 자산 중 33%가 해외 ETF에 투자되고 있으며, 주로 S&P500과 나스닥 지수를 추종하는 미국 ETF에 집중되고 있다. 이는 비과세 혜택을 활용하려는 '스마트 투자자'의 증가로 분석된다.
삼성증권은 고객 지원을 위해 ▲절세계산기, ▲고수PICK, ▲ISA상담소 등의 서비스를 제공하고 있다. 특히, '고수PICK' 서비스는 초보 투자자에게 유용한 종목 추천을 제공하며, 이용객이 46.6% 증가했다.
또한, 'ISA상담소'를 통해 전문적인 상담 서비스를 제공하며, 고객 요청을 신속하게 처리할 수 있도록 전용 상담소를 운영하고 있다.
삼성증권 관계자는 "중개형 ISA가 장기 자산 형성의 핵심 솔루션으로 자리매김할 수 있도록 다양한 정보와 이벤트를 제공할 것"이라고 밝혔다.
한편, 삼성증권은 중개형 ISA 계좌 보유 고객을 대상으로 최대 30만 원의 상품권을 지급하는 이벤트를 2월 말까지 진행한다. 자세한 내용은 삼성증권 홈페이지나 모바일 앱 '엠팝(mPOP)'에서 확인할 수 있다.
Samsung Securities surpasses 1.2 million brokerage ISA accounts
Samsung Securities (CEO Park Jong-moon) announced that the number of brokerage ISA accounts has exceeded 1.2 million for the first time in the industry, with balances exceeding KRW 4 trillion. In particular, new sign-ups from the 2030 generation stood out, increasing from 330,000 at the end of 2023 to 430,000 at the end of January 2025.
By age group, 20-somethings recorded the highest growth rate with a 45.8% increase and 30-somethings with a 25.1% increase. Younger people are increasingly signing up for ISA accounts to take advantage of the tax benefits.
As of the end of January, 33% of the assets of Samsung Securities' brokerage ISA customers were invested in overseas ETFs, with the majority of these investments in US ETFs that track the S&P500 and Nasdaq indices. This is analyzed as an increase in 'smart investors' seeking to utilize tax-free benefits.
To support its customers, Samsung Securities provides services such as ▲Savings Calculator, ▲GosuPICK, and ▲ISA Consultation Center. In particular, the 'GoGoPICK' service provides useful stock recommendations for beginner investors, and the number of users increased by 46.6%.
In addition, the company provides professional counseling services through the ISA Consultation Center, and operates a dedicated consultation center to quickly process customer requests.
“We will provide various information and events to position the brokerage ISA as a key solution for long-term wealth building,” said a Samsung Securities representative.
