본회의에 앞서 최영기 의원은 '경주시 양질의 노인 일자리 창출의 필요성과 그 방향'을 주제로 5분 자유발언을 진행했다.
이후 본회의에서는 '경주시 창의 인성 교육 지원에 관한 조례안', '경주시 도시계획 조례 일부개정조례안', '경주시 어촌·어항재생사업 시설물 관리 및 운영 조례안' 등 8건의 의원발의 조례안과 '경주사랑 시민캠퍼스 운영(재위탁) 민간위탁 동의안' 등 4건의 동의안, '서면 도리 은행나무 숲 부지 매입' 등의 공유재산 관리계획 변경안에 대한 심의가 진행됐다. 모든 안건은 원안대로 가결됐다.
제2차 본회의를 주재한 이동협 경주시의회 의장은 "이번 임시회 일정 동안 노고가 많은 동료 의원과 공직자 여러분들에게 감사드리며, 올 한 해에도 모두가 합심하여 살기 좋은 경주를 만들어가는 데 매진해주시기를 바란다"고 전했다.
한편, 경주시의회는 오는 3월 20일 제289회 임시회를 열어 조례안 및 기타 안건 등을 처리할 예정이다.
