[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 김해시는 아동친화도시 상위 인증 추진 활동의 하나로 21일 시청 소회의실에서 상반기 아동친화도시 추진위원회와 실무추진단 회의를 개최했다.
회의에는 추진위원회와 실무추진단 25명이 참석해 2024년 아동친화도시 중점과제 이행 성과를 공유하고 2025년 종합추진계획(안)을 심의 의결했다.
지난해 시는 40개 중점과제를 이행했으며 참석자들은 지역 특성을 반영한 특화사업 필요성에 대해 제언했다.
시는 아동, 청소년 인구가 많은 장유지역의 인구 특성을 반영한 놀이·문화공간 확충 사업에 힘쓰고 있으며 지난 8일 김해시서부문화복지센터가 개관해 서부권역 청소년 거점 공간으로 활용된다.
유아 인구가 밀집한 장유3동은 어린이 실내놀이공간을 포함해 다양한 신체활동이 가능한 유아친화형 국민체육센터 조성에 박차를 가하고 있다.
시는 지난해 2월까지 아동실태 표준조사, 시민원탁토론회를 거쳐 마련한 아동친화도시 4개년(2024~2027) 기본계획 로드맵을 근거로 보다 발전된 수준의 아동친화도시 조성에 주력하고 있다.
회의에서는 2025년 아동친화도시 종합추진계획에 대해 추진위원회와 실무추진단의 심도 있는 논의를 거쳐 아동친화도시 5대 조성 목표 이행을 위한 최종 계획을 확정했다.
시는 지난 2021년 2월 도내 처음으로 유니세프 아동친화도시 인증을 획득했으며 지난해 12월 유니세프에 상위단계 인증을 신청했다.
상위단계 인증은 아동친화도 조사결과 아동친화적 환경구축 현황, 아동친화정책 추진계획과 이행실적 등을 평가해 오는 7월 최종 결정된다.
안경원 부시장은 “상위단계 인증을 발판 삼아 한 단계 더 발전된 아동친화적 환경 조성을 위해 꾸준히 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
